My wife and I are retirees living in northern Maine, and we have been biking for decades. Early in the spring of 2020, she convinced me to purchase a tandem, and we instantly loved it! We like to travel/tent and realized that tandem biking was the perfect fit for our type of vacationing. Unfortunately, at our age, steep hills can be a deal breaker, so we were limited to fairly flat terrain with a traditional tandem. After much research, we decided to purchase a GAPIDA XT10, but due to the pandemic, there were none available in the USA or Canada. On 8-25-2020, I contacted E-Bikes Ireland, who put me in contact with James, at New World eBikes in Gresham, OR. James, informed me that he had 13 e-tandems on a ship from Hungry to Oregon, and would hold one for us with a $300 deposit and ship it to Maine, when it arrived. We received our tandem in October of 2020, and have logged a 1000 miles on it during the past year. I give the Gepida XT10 tandem a full five star rating because it not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. We have found it to be just as competent on hard top surfaces as it is on the various Rails-To-Trails surfaces we've been on, and elevation is no longer a concern. We couldn't be happier with our new e-tandem. I would also like to give a five star rating to James, for his exceptional customer service, and attention to detail. I can truly say that I have never experienced any better customer service from any organization I have dealt with, bar none! Rest assured; James, at New World eBikes will do his utmost to make sure you are a happy and satisfied customer. A top quality product with exceptional customer service deserves a ten star rating!

We are so impressed with the incrediable service we have recieved from James and his staff at New World Ebikes. We ride our Gepida Tandem with our son Chris who has special needs.Our tandem has over 10,000 miles on it and we needed help desperatly after a major breakdown. James actually remembered our family (especially Chris) over the years of giving his Tech support. James offer to get us back on the road with our son by offering us his own personel tandem.
