Great selection of art. I really liked the contemporary and modern art. The cafe was nice and quite a few people were eating lunch and dessert. We had a cocktail and beer and the lemon ice box cake. The dessert was cold and not too sweet. The outdoor sculpture garden was amazing, just make sure to visit when it's cool outside because we were tired from being in the sun. Cafe du Monde is right next to the museum, which was a nice surprise.

I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing this museum was! Not only was it HUGE with three giant floors, but the many exhibits were varied and expansive. There were artifacts from all around the world and tons of paintings in different styles from a variety of artists. They even had a “Louisiana” room which was so cool to see!

Come and see. Not the biggest art collection, but certainly a good profile, with engaging art and we'll presented. The luxurious building supports the collection nicely. Come for the cafe, which offers an amazing variety of sweets and lunch dishes with a twist, such as Egypt inspired pasta or Doberge cake, under a sparkling dome of glass in modern chairs. Don't forget the adjacent sculpture park, one of the best I have ever seen. Free for Nola residents on Wednesdays

They often have promotions that may include discounts or free entry. Call first to find out.
Gen adm for an adult is $12. There are discounts for students (but not teachers), and local residents. There is an additional fee if you want to see the featured exhibit. It is $4, I think.
Yes, casual pictures are allowed but I don't think they allow professional pictures for commercial purposes.
According to their website Wednesday's are still free.
Tremendous, I took so many photo. It was awesome.
Yes. Lots of dessert options were not avail. So I recommend eating early. The holidays may have increased the # of ppl visiting. They also had pizza for 10 bucks and a vegan bowl option. Coffee was delicious
Contact them from website, they have a customer service line, explain this to them, they will advise.
I went Thursday. There are specific time slots for tickets. A self guided thorough tour would not be over an hour to 45 minutes. It wasn't too crowded when I went at 1:00 pm. The whole museum took us about 4 hours.
Yes, absolutely.
As per their website - closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
There is information on their brochure. Or you could look on line or phone the museum to find out the dues.
Yes. It's $10
