I have never had a long wait here. Now that covid precautions keeps the number of people in the waiting room to a minimum I am in and out quickly. I communicate with my doctor by email when I have questions or need prescriptions. The online records is great for a summary of visits and lab results. Overall very satisfied.

When everything is fine they are great. But when things go wrong, the incompetence and shear lack of knowledge about anything medical leaves you helpless amd wondering how these people are in the medical profession at all. Separately, my wife and I both had awful experiences in which her wrist would have been left deformed had we not reached out to other offices for help. All AFP could offer us was an appointment in 2 months time when we just needed a simple referral for an xray or cscan to find out if it's healing properly. My went on them was that they won't set up a system to see or assist covid19 positive patients. You're sick? Your AFP physician cannot help you. You've quarantined over 14 days but testing pos for the next few months? CA Surgeon General says you can be in public? Not AFP. Call back when you test negative and then wait 3 months for an opening. This is a medical office that claims to help? On to find a new better compassionate doctor. These people are useless.

Doctors and front desk are decent, but you can't reach them. Calling for any reason you are directed to a hotline with multiple menus, wait times, and representatives that can't do much other than book something or forward you. They are overbooked to the point that it's disrespectful to the patients (they are booking late January at the earliest, it is the beginning of October). Find other care until these policies are reconsidered.

Terrible customer service. Called to make a follow-up appointment and was told to call back another day to schedule, after being taken back the receptionist said she could help assist but needed me to be quick. Customer service was the worst I’ve ever had at a doctors office.

Not sure but just call them & they can give you all the options. They're a super friendly & warm practice. Plus it is absolutely worth paying out of pocket. 😊
