Yeah I've bought a few things through BidCal, they run a good operation although I think I read they allow buybacks where the owners are allowed to bid up the items that don't make their minimum bids.( in effect, not a true and free auction ) but I think most auction houses are that way now. Buybacks end up paying the fees and everything and still have transportation costs so it's not like they don't have risks and they can always have shill bidders too. Anywho they put on a number of auctions in the area and the online feature is Handy too, this auction I went to the other day the inspection day was literally the day before the auction closed and that was inconvenient, it's usually at least two or three days before closing to give you a little time. Equipment must be in short supply, most sales seems out of whack with the times.

I LOVE LOVE BidCal. They have saved me tons of money over the years. I love the way the put the lots up WAY before the auction starts so I can do all the research I need to do for the different items I want to bid on. During checkout the staff is always super informative and ready to help out in any way. OH and there are sometimes cookies when you pick up. They are AWESOME :-)

The published descriptions are top notch.I have not previewed any sale yet.Load out runs smoother than any in person auction I've been to in 55 years of agriculture and industrial enterprises I have owned.
