I have two family members who just joined the Pine Rock community - one in assisted living and the other in memory care. Both have made the transition well and both are happy! There is ample space for my wanderer in memory care and she no longer feels trapped as she did at home and there are always plenty of staff members standing and available to talk when I either visit or call. The assisted living side provides more independence but in a very homey atmosphere. Plus, my grandfather is free to go and visit his wife in memory care whenever he wishes - priceless! The transition from a wonderful 24/7 care team at home made me nervous, but the staff worked hard to make sure everyone was well informed and the change went smoothly.

It was a very difficult decision to put our mother put into a memory care facility but the staff has been so supportive and caring keeping my mother engaged in different activities every day.I love the fact that they can roam the building. It does my heart good seeing her laugh and smile telling me about her new friends and how much she enjoys it there and likes the food.❤️❤️❤️

The staff at Pine Rock are doing an amazing job of caring for their residents amid constant challenges of COVID-19 and it’s effects. Everyone I’ve talked to there is committed to their mission - providing an environment where every life is defined by the possibilities.

As a former employee at Pine Rock Manor, I would never place a family member in the care of anyone there. They hire random people with no former experience in the health care field, The management cuts corners to save money and does not in anyway respect or care about their employees and does bare minimum for their residents. If you're looking for a home for a loved one, look else where. If you're looking for employment this place is worse than Mcdonald's.

My father in law iis in a private room. It's pretty big. He seems to be content however there is only 2 staff there for all the residents every weekend that really concerns me. I hear it's like that everywhere though. Their showers could really use a update and there is no privacy for the resident while shower at least a curtain or something would be nice. He has a lady friend now ( another resident) personally I am pleased now we dont worry about him being as lonely. Shes sweet and we now include her in everything. She thinks hes her husband who's past most of the time but he cant hear a word she says just smiles. It's funny but they are happy together and adults so good for them. My opinion is it's not the best place but not the worst either. Staff is nice.
