We performed a very large peri-pandemic renovation with many delays, labor challenges, supply shortages and frankly...excuses. This was NOT the case with our experience with classic metal roofs. THEY WERE GREAT. Combination of standing seam copper and flat-lock copper. In short, Mike from CMR did what he said and said what he did. After doing a great deal of research about metal roofs, materials, industry standards, expectations, and how installation should be done properly, I contracted Classic Metal Roofs, LLC. They met the standards. It was also important to me that they do not hire sub-contractors, they train their crews. This helps to maintain consistency in quality. I had to wait months but it was worth it. They did excellent work, and took pride in the results. I originally looked into aluminum roofing to take care of ice dam situations I have had with asphalt roofing. I highly recommend this company.

We are currently out 8-12 weeks out for our clients to get their new Classic Metal Roof installation. There are exceptions due to the supply chain and available inventory at our mills. In some cases we are able to install in as little as 4-6 weeks.
A metal roof installation does take a little longer than an asphalt roof installation. On average, our roof installations take a week on a standard 3-4 bedroom colonial with attached garage. This is just an example. Every roof is different, and some project have unforeseen conditions like plywood replacement or rotted trim that may need to be replaced. We hope this answers your question.
An aluminum metal roof whether it's a metal shingle or a standing seam roof has no affect on cell reception.
