It's no longer the pool it's the splash pad and the only thing bad about it it has no shade.

Clean, large sitting (on towels) area. Family friendly could use a little changing room update.

I was actually really impressed with this pool up until the begining of the week. The life guards were nice and they had everyone get out every hour to take a break. For people that need it, they offered lunches to kids and teens. Everything changed once they started having a summer camp come every day. They have had to shut the pool down for at least 30 minutes on Monday after the camp left bc the urine levels were too high. Yesterday was okay. Today we got there at 130. I thought it was weird that they were havibg everone get out bc the breaks usually happen at quarter til. Nope. There was a poop or something in the pool. The staff are in NO HURRAY what so ever to get the pool tested and back open. They dont let antone know what's going on. There is no announcement so you can plan accordingly. Origionally I heard a life guard tell one of the summer camp staff it would be 30 min. So we hung out. After almost 50 minutes I went to ask how much longer it was going to be and was told 30 more minutes. Since the pool doesnt have any morning hours, we had to wait til after 1 to go. The pool was closed by 130 and was not opening again until at least 315. I work nights, so that was the ENTIRE time I had to take my kids swimming. This pool is in no way built to support having the HUNDREDS of kids in it at a time as there are when that camp is there and it should not be being allowed. And as I said, they are VERY quick to shut things down and have everyone get out of the pool but they take their time in DOING something about the problem so that it can be reopened. And maybe letting people know how long to expect would be a helpful thing. I dont think its right that the neighborhood families should be loosing access to their neighborhood pool so that a summer camp can come in and throw off the chemicals and deficate in the pool. Something needs to be done. Like I said, at the begining I was impressed. Not anymore.

I’d rather swim in a Porta potty but I guess it’s the same thing anyway. The place is absolutely disgusting, it’s extremely cramped, and it’s a haven for drugs and broken glass. Easily the trashiest pool in NH. Totally should be shut down.

Questions & Answers

How much do you have to pay?

DeAnna Moores | Sep 2, 2021
Nicole J. | Oct 7, 2021

There is no payment! You just show a piece of mail with your name and manchester address. Last summer they just needed it for records they let surrounding cities go in also. This year they were closed shortly after the opening of the season. This was due to a pipe bursting i believe i heard! So maybe next summer but they have the awesome new splash pad right next to the pool across from the jfk rink
