I love their pizza and cheese bread when I'm in Colorado! Our waitress was sweet and very pleasant. She had to come back a couple times: one because the bar didn't have the tequila I originally asked for and she brought my daughter the wrong drink (forgot the berries, is all). She seemed to feel bad, but she fixed the berry drink and got me a fabulous margarita - so all is well.

Sun. 2:10pm 1/30/22: 'Lil Italy' pizza was great and a bit different (see pic). I love pizza but occasionally get a bit tired of the usual run. This one was different and very good. I have a thin crust version and will order that again. This afternoon the parking lot was stuffed. There were a few empty spaces though and an electric car charger: one terminal. They have a big patio outside (see picture).

The bartender was wonderful and helpful with finding a beer to enjoy. Food was okay but could have been more flavorful. I enjoyed the honey on the pizza and the Green Chile.

This is a great local pizza place to eat at ad enjoy. The pizza is made and sold by weight. So a 3lb pie makes 8 to10 slices. I had a thin which is called a prairie like flat land in a thick which is called the mountain like the mountain. …Hi TJ, thanks for taking the time to leave us a great review! Thickness of the outer crust. Get mountain (thick crust) and smother it in the honey they provide. It's so tasty!
Pizzas are split between the Mountain Pie thick crust with large roll of edge crust, and Prairie Pie which is a bit thinner than a standard hand tossed. The desert pizza is always thin crust.
$3 house wine on wednesdays!

I suppose it depends on the size of the pizza. Beau Jo's is deep dish. So you're getting a very dense pizza. My take is that if you're looking for a bargain pizza Beau Jo's is not your place. But, if you're looking for something with a very different flavor, with thick, yummy crust, then it is your place and you won't mind paying more.
