I would not go here again after my experience. Not to mention how dirty this facility is. I understand staffing shortages but there’s no excuse for this. The nurses here were nice. Other than that the treatment was horrible.after being taken through triage, I was out in a curtain room where I waited hours and was told “SORRY we forgot you were here”….. (they were not busy). They then tried to take my blood sample twice saying they couldn’t find the blood they already took. Then lost my urine sample lol… the doctor simply told me “you’ll be fine” (I have been sick for over 2 weeks) and got one thing of fluids. Biggest waste of time and money. Not sure how this facility is even open still.

I am giving it 2 stars instead of one because in person everyone was very friendly. I went sure to COVID symptoms and a doctor telling me I had to go to the ER instead of being helped at their office. When I went to the ER they were super helpful but when it was all done it took me 4 days to get my COVID results and only got them because I went back to the hospital to visit the medical records office. When reviewing my charts all the symptoms I had given them when I got there was recorded but in my evaluation they marked them saying I denied having the symptoms. How can you write in the the reason I'm here but then say that I denied having any of the symptoms you just wrote about? I don't feel like if go back to this hospital hard on how hard it was to get my full results and the fact that my information was inconsistently filled out in my chart.

The emergency front desk person and the nurse who saw me after the doctor were very nice and professional. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the physician who saw me. I went to the ER due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Because I appeared fine and had no severe symptoms and it was some time after exposure, he said there was no point to do blood work. Treatment was not needed. Then, he gave me pamphlets saying what to do in the case of carbon monoxide poisoning (which says to go to the ER). This experience has taught me that it’s a waste of time to go to the ER in these situations unless you’re passing out or having severe symptoms (ex. Vomiting). The doctor could have shown more empathy instead of giving me 2 mins and rushing me out of the door. The hospital and the doctor charged me $200+ for basically nothing. Hopefully, there won’t be any more emergency situations but if there are, I’d rather go to Lowell General or Lawrence General.

Great hospital, staff was quick to respond and the presence of the military service made me feel even more welcomed. A wonderful nurse and Dr. Cirino had me in and out in less than 1hr after negative X-rays. My experience in the Holy Family hospital ER was simply the best!
