Walked in and was seen right away. I made an appointment for my real ID and to have new passport pictures taken. The person I spoke to was extremely pleasant and fully explained everything I would need to bring on the day of my appointment, as well as gave me all the necessary forms for my passport renewal. Will definitely be making this location my go to for AAA.

Never go to the RMV again. The staff here are friendly and courteous. If your documents aren't quite right they will walk through exactly what you need next time. The office is uncrowded and clean. After years of suffering through the RMV this was a breath of fresh air.

Nice to have AAA for Real ID and licenses close by. But they need to improve their speed a little. Felt like a social hour. Too much chitchat. There needs to be a balance of being nice and getting the work done. Please scan 3 docs, photo, take payment and wrap. For folks who want to hangout and chat please have a separate line.

Yes you always need to make an appointment for any and all RMV services. You can do that right on AAA.com and on there will provide what to bring for either Standard Drivers license or Read Id Drivers license. You should ALSO go onto the RMV to get the in depth break down of what you need to bring on there.

You can change your address for free on the RMV website and write it in on the back with a sharpie. If you want it on your license you will need to pay $25 for the change.
You can renew your license as early as 364 days before your expiration date.
AAA is unable to do Out-of-State conversions. That transaction would have to be done at a full service registry. I am not 100% sure what documentation you would need for that, but I would bring a birth certificate or passport and 2 proofs of Massachusetts residency.
