I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal at Jake's Seafood. I went there with a friend for lunch several weeks ago, and it was as good as ever. For those who are new to the area, Jake's is located in Hull, near Nantasket Beach (and close to what was once Paragon Park). Given its location, that means nearly every table has views of the ocean. As for the food, everything is fresh, and the portions are substantial. I had the lobster roll, my friend had the seafood platter, and both were outstanding. The homemade desserts are a delight: I recommend the key lime pie. Service was attentive even though the dining room was crowded. You can eat in, or they have take-out. There's one caveat: everything is pricier this year, and that included our lunch. But to me, it was worth it: good food, beautiful views...what's not to like about Jake's?

If you want a restaurant to have a good food, with a beautiful view of ocean at the same time piece and quiet, visit Jake’s Seafood! Ordering fish and chips in a seafood restaurant is a must for me. Lol. And I was satisfied with my order. I would definitely come back here.

Excellent food. Everything we had was outstanding. 2 of us have celiac and all their breading is gluten free. We had fried calamari, onion rings, fried shrimp and fish & chips plus salads and other items. All the food was very fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Had a delicious lunch at Jakes. Fresh and tasty seafood and fish. We have been going there over the years and have never been disappointed. Consistency is rare in a lot of restaurants. Today I shared a yummy grilled calamari with artichokes and olives in a marinara sauce and had a crispy salad with grilled shrimp for my main course. Views were great and our waitress was the friendliest.
