HSAR is the best. We've adopted from them twice. They love their foundling cats and ensure that they get the veterinary care they need before adoption. Our Maizie. Adopted only 5 days sgo, had been neglected and needed expensive dental surgery. And they made it happen, ensuring that she was fully healed before being adopted. Her HSAR medical records came with her. You can't go wrong at HSAR.

We found Tabitha on petfinder and were able to book an appointment to adopt within the week. All the volunteers were masked and respecting distance, lots of sanitation considerations too. They sent us off with toys and lots of love for our new kitty.

Great rescue shelter for cats. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the care of the volunteers for their cats who are awaiting new homes. I just adopted a cat from them and was very happy with the amount of Vet Care that my new kitty received prior to me picking him up. They're absolutely wonderful. There is a Fee, as with most shelters. The Fee goes to help fund what they do.

Cats roam freely within the rooms, not cooped up in small cages like many other shelters. The shelter is clean and the cats seem happy. You can really get to interact with the cats so you can choose the right one for you.

Call the shelter and ask for Jusy or Ellen. They are great
You would probably have to call them or make an appointment. I adopted a senior cat last Labor Day weekend and he was $100 because he was a senior. Good luck.
