First time I actually get in the water to cool off and it was fantastic. Parking right on the edge was a plus. Lots of families and people cooking out and enjoying a great hot Sunday. I have always paddle boarded here. I need to explore the buttes more.

Nice little drive. Very head clearing area.

I love taking the kiddos here! The fact that you can drive right up to the water is amazing. I wish Stony Gorge was like this!

Amazing beauty. Wild life (Turkey Vultures, Deer, and other critters were abundant. The lake was low (normal for Nov) but it was beautiful any way. The only cons are some tree were low and the camping spot very uneven. However, the camp host and the COE Ranger were very helpful in finding a spot we could settle into.

I didn't see any. You can still have a wonderful time. They have grills and wood. Plus clean bathrooms.

Maybe if you pickup every single piece of clay when your done, or if you are a really, really, REALLY bad shot.

This is a us army corp park, so should not be impacted by the federal shutdown which does not impact defense. But call and verify
