In the mood for Indian cuisine, we chose to order takeout from Indian Garden as our go to restaurant in Newtown was closed for vacation. I have to say that the food does not compare. Our order of Aloo Palak tasted bad. There is no other way to say it. It had a very earthy taste, like eating dirt, and no other flavor. Maybe it was missing an ingredient or two? The Chicken Saag was better, but the consistency of the Saag was odd. We will stick to our local Newtown restaurant which may be the best Indian food anywhere.

This restaurant is excellent and a great price. It is very clean and the hosts are phenomenal. I went to the buffet and am impressed by the selection. I will definitely be returning soon.

I've ordered on Uber Eats a few times and the food is great, tonight I dined in and let me tell you it's so much better fresh from the kitchen. Slightly put off by the rudeness of the delivery drivers and takeout customers who think they're priority over dine-in customers. I feel for the waitstaff who have to wait tables, bus, and fulfill delivery orders with delivery drivers in their faces and takeout customers canceling their orders because they can't wait for their food during a pandemic when the employees are obviously doing their best. It seems that they gained popularity on the delivery apps during Covid and are having trouble keeping up now that the dining room is open. My advise to the throngs of people standing at the front of the restaurant glaring at the staff because their takeout order isn't ready would be to wait in your car for your order and let diners eat in peace and stop treating it like a McDonald's.

This was my first return for lunch since the advent of Covid. The lunch buffet is gone but the food is excellent. 😍. I had chicken vindaloo and naan with an onion bhajiya appetizer.
