Matt and the Team from Simple tank were great! Before they even arrived at our house, the process was explained in detail by Rita from the office. It’s not an inexpensive process to clear out contaminated soil, but Simple Tank was professional, thorough, quick and very easy to work with. You can tell they are experienced, especially with old houses (ours is over 100 years old). Thank you Matt and the team. I highly recommend Simple Tank for oil tank removal and soil remediation.

Talking to the person on the phone 5/5, very friendly and informative about the whole process. We setup a date and time and everything started well. The two men that came were nice and seemed they did a great job. It wasn’t till the end I noticed all the marks around my door and my wife’s sneaker that got sprayed with what I assume is rust or something from the tank removal. I called and complained and all they said is they would talk to the project manager about it. Never heard anything else about that. If not for stains on my wife’s sneaker, bent damages around my door, stain marking around my door and wall.. I would rate 5/5. But I’m kicking my self for not monitoring them the whole time as they removed my tank. Price was fair, wasn’t cheap nor expensive but I would much rather go to abother business that would not cause damage to your house and belongings.

Steve and his crew from Simple Tank were informative of the process and quick with the digging, removal, replacing of soil /dirt. They left the area clean when done. Would recommend for oil Tank Removal jobs.

No. We need to perform a soil investigation to determine the extent of the leak. How deep is the contamination? How far did it travel in each direction? Is groundwater impacted? Does contamination exist under any structures? Is it off site? Once we perform our soil investigation for $600, we can provide you with a fixed price to perform the soil remediation. If you decide to hire us for the work, we will credit to the $600 to your account.
1-3 business days from the day we submit your report to NJDEP. We can get you a final report two weeks after the site work is complete as long as all post ex samples are below 1k ppm. Our turn around time is among the fastest in the industry. Industry standard is 4-6 weeks.
Oil tank removals take one business to complete the site work. Soil remediations on average take one to two business days.
Worst case scenario soil remediations can be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars! This is very rare but it can happen. Most soil remediations range from $4,500 - $15,000
No. But it will be almost impossible to sell a house with an underground oil tank. You will run into road blocks with buyers, attorneys, realtors, home inspectors, insurance companies and banks. We recommend removing your underground tank and converting to gas or installing an above ground oil tank.
Yes, but we have not provided this service in many years since it has become very difficult to sell a property with a previously filled oil tank.
No, this is not a requirement.
We apply for all permits within 24 hours of receiving your deposit and signed contract.
A tank that is easily accessible typically costs around $1,500 total to remove.
It depends on a few variables but about one out of three oil tanks we remove fail the township inspection for one reason or another.
