I had the sausage breakfast sandwich, my husband had the biscuits and gravy, and our daughter had a kids plate. The food was hot, sausage spiced very well, and fresh, and the servers were courteous and friendly. We came in a little after 8:00, so it was pretty busy, but the wait for our food wasn’t unreasonable.

Went to J&D Family Diner Saturday morning around 10 am. They were packed. When I sat down I had to wait about 30 min before my order was taken. Waitress was busy sitting more people down and getting very body drinks instead of taking my order first. Food took about 15-20 min to come out. Portions are big and the food was delicious. Overall worth the wait but service could have been better. I had to ask for coffee refill several times and no one asked me how my food was and if I needed anything else. This is the reason I took away one star.
