Whenever I go there during the posted open hours, it's closed. When are they open? Why don't they post their actual hours on the website instead of lying?

I just think recycling is a civic responsibility even though not everything is used to make other things. It reduces the amount I put in the garage so it saves me money by not having to pay too much for garage pick up.
D Petty
Went by twice during business hours and it was closed...get it together or update the hours. When are you really open? Waste of time.

Yes
They just allow you to dump glass there. They don't offer money.
No. Will need to take it to the landfill.
Sorry, KRC doesn't have that feature. You'll need to take a trip to Resource Reduction at 1401 S Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27107
They don't check for proof of residency, so it is safe to bring yor cardboard there. That doesn't mean you should, but you can call them to be sure.
Yes, you could bring recyclables, but not a Christmas tree. There are landfills for natural waste in Winston and in Greensboro. You may be able to drop a tree there
I believe all county services are closed Thurs and Friday, but reopen Saturday
Try Resource Reduction, 1401 S Martin Luther King Jr, WS
Tuesday-Saturday 8am-5pm
No, they don't collect styrofoam there.

No, this is a general recycling center. Look on the county website for that.
As of noon on May 4 it's still closed.
No, you have to take appliances to the Winston Salem station
No. They do not. About once a year, the Town of Kernersville will hold an event where you can drop off electronics.
You can recycle aluminum here but they do not buy it. To sell, check with Atlantic Scrap Metal which is also located in Kernersville.
