This service was hugely helpful in clearing out our dad's home; however, we were astonished at the prices for which the items were sold. A bed that was valued on the low end at 2k and the high end of 5k was sold for 170. A single, hand-carved bed was sold for $20. So, yes, I would say this is probably an excellent place to buy things, as you are buying at outlandishly low prices, but I would use caution when selling. The auctioneer has no skin in the game, and the check you receive will reflect that.

Sadly I must report that I had a very disappointing experience with this auction house on April 12, 2017. I had consigned many items with Mr. Mishoe over the years and always had a great experience which is why I decided to use his services again. I phoned ahead and explained that I had about 100 lots of great merchandise that I needed to consign. Mr. Mishoe requested that I wait until after the week they had planned to take off and we set a date and time to meet. For me to make all this happen I have to acquire a trailer, load it all up and drive round trip about 150 miles and Mr. Mishoe knew this and should have been more committed to my scheduling. So I arrive at the appointed time actually allowing him 15 extra minutes only to learn that not only is he not there but I was told by Jim (the apparent manager when Mr. Mishoe is away) that he probably will not return. I asked that he phone Mr. Mishoe and let him know that I had arrived and to confirm our appointment only to be told that Mr. Mishoe will probably not answer his phone, I insisted he try but Jim said "I'll just text him and maybe he will respond". So I stand around for an hour, waiting. Jim did not offer to allow me a place to unload my trailer and actually suggested my goods may have to be sold with the Tuesday flea market sale which meant in his opinion I had brought junk, of course he had not even inspected my consignment. So after wasting all this time and effort and no small expense it became apparent that we were simply being disrespected to the point that I would decide to just leave. I never received a phone call or text from Mr. Mishoe with an apology or even an explanation. I am totally shocked that this auction house and its staff has allowed it to denigrate to this level and I am suggesting to anyone that is considering using them to think long and hard about it. You too may be treated the same way. What a huge disappointment for a business to treat people so poorly after making assurances to them.
