Highly disappointed with Yreka Self Storage. Had been happy with them until I no longer needed my storage unit. Went cleared it out in the middle of the month gave the requested 2 weeks notice on July 13 that I would not be using the storage. Well on August 5 they decided to charge my card for the storage unit. After many attempts to reach the manager on site I was finally able to talk with Donna only for her to tell me that she was unable to refund the charges made to my credit card by her and that she would need to mail me a check I asked for her manager’s information only to be told she could not give me that information and she hung up on me!! Very poor service! She didn’t even get my new mailing address to mail me the refund that she stated would have to done by mail with a paper check! Not worth renting a unit from here

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. The manager, I believe her name was Raelene, could not explain why my mother's bill was double what she actually owed. She started getting verbally nasty with me. When I told her that it's bad customer service not to understand your own ledger she started taunting me about my mother's mental illness. She really needs customer service training. I have worked as an administrative professional for years and have never encountered such nastiness before. Not only that but my mother's storage unit was broken into and all the valuables were stolen. They acted as if it was my mother's fault...this is a horrible storage company. Please trust me. I wish there were zero star options.
