Took my 12 year old to look for bathing suit they had a suit on a dummie she ask if she could try this one. The little girl said yes if she was going to by it. I said well she don't know if she didn't try it on . she said that was the way the did it because it took time to put them back. I just said ok we will go to a different store. It just seamed like they didn't care if we got anything or not . did not get her name

Clothing selection is massive but selling clothes? Don’t even bother. You’d have more luck selling your own clothes on Poshmark or EBay. All of the clothes I took in were in good condition and nice brands. They took 3 items out of the 25 I brought because they said the others were outdated…obviously they don’t know anything about fashion. They have teenagers going through these clothes and deciding what they’ll take what they won’t. A majority of my clothes were less than a year old. Maybe Plato’s should do their homework on fashion because the basic sweaters and t-shirts they have in there are from years ago. How stupid do they think we are? Never buying or selling here again.

Not even a star!! But I need to click on the start in order for me to post my thoughts!!! Well I went to sell brand clothes and my Caucasian friend took hers the same time I did and they bought a lot of her clothes from her which those clothes were 5 years old like mine... And they didn’t get any of my nice new brand clothes!! They said it was out dated! I was like what!!! I suggest not selling clothes to Plato!!!

Not having carts is a let down...I have a 15 month old and trying to carry him around while trying to shop around with no cart is such a pain. Not to mention I had to ask for help because I bought over $400 worth of clothes at the end of it. So I had to ask to put half of my items in a black bin because of not having a cart. None of the cashiers even asked meanwhile I'm over there trying to carry 10+ items while carrying a baby at the same time.

They're selective. Just stop by with the clothes.
No
Teri, our buy procedure is to look at the style and condition first, then brand. We do like to stay within a year or two maximum of the date the clothes were first sold in stores. We buy all day every day with no appointment required. Please come in and check out our store. I would add that we are a teen, twenty something casual wear and accessories (shoes, purses, hats) store catering to this demographic.
Sorry, we do not. Only casual wear and accessories for teen & twenty somethings.
Kids and more consignment in Mauldin does. Just call them for details
It also depends on what year they cam out. I use to work at a Plato's Closet and we were only allowed to buy clothes that were within a year to 2 years out. So if its from like 2014 they may not take them unless they are in really good condition. But just so you know, they have to price things at 70% off of its original retail price, and then you get 30% of whatever the total of the 70% off was.
They do
