Nice place to take your kids or just sit and lookout over the bay. Great for sunsets if you were so inclined.

The bay is often overlooked during the **down the shore** experience. Enjoy the beauty of the water while strolling along or enjoy one of the comfy benches. There is also a playground quite close by. (Very convenient for burning up a few calories following your favorite cooling summer treat. ) There's lots more to see in the immediate area ~ All kinds of watercraft ~ form kayaks to deep sea fishing vessels. Watch the sun sparkle on the water in mid day. Look a bit farther across the causeway and see flocks of seabirds.

I say yes they can go in water. But during "summer season " a leash may be required. I would go to town website for pet info. But alot of dogs are at the ramp park and I've never seen a problem.
