This has been my neighborhood go to, for weekly groceries, since last century. It has improved greatly, in offering a more modern and upscale experience, not to mention, the diverse array of foods, such as the Sushi & prepared meals! The employees are helpful and kind, which is a most valuable asset, for Shaw's consumers, such as I.

this review is for their deli- Apparently they have stopped using the customer ticket system, although the number display box is still there and so are the tickets they have simply refused to do so, one response I got from the deli was that 'it isn't a problem', of course for them it isn't a problem, It is however a problem when 15 people are trying to figure out 'who's next' and it is a very rude approach to treating customers because there is absolutely no reason for not using the ticket system which EVERY other deli uses, I have repeatedly asked them to use the tickets but I think they are too lazy to bother or they simply do not care, I now just go across the street to stop and shop - we all have choices

After repeated bad experiences it's time to speak up. The manager with blue hair is always VERY rude. They mistreat their special needs associates, who are literally falling and getting concussions in the parking lot (direct quote from said employee). And the cashiers after school are a joke. Kids between 14 and 16 who have absolutely no sense of professionalism and are left to continue these bad behaviors with ZERO correction.Owen could care less about his job, he is constantly distracting other cashiers, talking very loudly about not work appropriate topics. Filipe was on his CELL PHONE while bagging my groceries which he threw around the belt. Do better Shaws, because Stop and Shop is literally across the street.
