Derry Medical has gone downhill, or maybe just my doctor has. Dr Egenolf used to care about her patients but since COVID she only cares about rushing them out of the office. If you stay too long at your physical then she books the visit as a separate visit and charges you. This office needs to rethink their strategy as to their patients because when they rush people in and out, they miss things. This is how people get misdiagnosed or not diagnosed at all, when they should be. If you’re unhappy with your job and don’t want to take the time to do the work required, you should probably find a new place to work.

Dr. Wheeler and staff are professional yet friendly and show genuine concern for my well being. It’s easy to tell they are good at their jobs and take personal satisfaction from their interactions with patients. I always feel I am being well cared for.

Every single time my pharmacy sends a refill request, the office never fills it until I call several days later and tell them that my pharmacy is waiting on them. Every single time I call and complain about their lack of service, I’m told something will be done but it’s been 6 years and they still can’t send out refills without me calling. Every time Ive tried leaving a voicemail about a refill, the call would be dropped on their end and I wouldn’t be able to leave a message. Again every time I’ve told them this they say something will be done and it still hasn’t been fixed. It is beyond frustrating that I can’t get my life saving medicine when I need it because they don’t want to fix their problems. Also, it makes no sense at all to have the office open until 8 pm but you can’t contact anybody at night. The call center is so unhelpful and closes before the actually doctor’s office so you can’t talk to any of the employees that are still in the office. My issue could have been resolved the night before by talking to an employee who was still in the office working but instead I was denied that help because the call center had already closed. So even though the office is was open with employees working that could have helped me, I had no way of contacting them because the call center closed earlier. DMC is the worst primary care I’ve dealt with because their lines of communication are terrible. And when I told the office manage that, and told her about these issues, she told me to find a new doctor. She acted like these issues weren’t DMC problems and tried to blame my pharmacy for not refilling my prescription. And they always treat me like it’s my fault that their lines of communication are terrible.

This is a shout out to Dr. Justin Plaum at the Derry office formally at the Windham location. In 2017 I needed to find a new primary doctor. I was a healthy 56-year-old male so I wasn’t really choosy about what health facility and doctor I chose. I just needed to let my insurance company know who it was. Let me tell you I hit the lottery with Derry Medical and Dr. Plaum. since 2017 I’ve had a couple of health issues one of them very scary. Dr. Plum help me through those issues. I trusted his professional medical opinions. He has stared me right every time. He’s very knowledgeable, very pleasant and he listens. This fine young doctor has a very bright future ahead of him. Highly recommend. And then there’s Robin my new and dear friend. Robin facilitated paperwork that I needed in order for me to leave my health network and travel out of state for treatment. No disrespect to the rest of the staff but Robin was the only one that knew how to do the paperwork it wasn’t even part of her job description she just knew how to do it. She has done it for me every year because of my health insurance. Derry Medical is a great team to be on. Thank you very much
