Very poor service!! The women working the front counter are very rude! At 11:00am they told me we are no longer taking any walk ins, everyone needs an appointment!! This appointment only thing is absolutely ridiculous and very inconvenient!! Place wasn’t even busy! Can’t get an appointment till the end of September, just for them to confirm my paperwork and give me a code for my teen to take the permit test at home!
Jeffrey Rice
Awful staff. I attempted a walk in on a slow Tuesday, 2 and a half hours prior to closing...was turned away. I got an appointment a day later for 11am...I arrived at 10:50am and the walk in line was out the door. The girl at the front desk was rude, said I was too early, and even if I waited till 11am (my appointment time) the wait would be a while. Very unhelpful and rude...better off going to Lawrence RMV, way better experience!!!

So I had a bad experience because the passport verification was down and I will have to go back another day. That being said, the people who worked there were so incredibly helpful. Particularly a young man named Alek (?) - he was kind, made me smile, and made the day not so terrible. Little things like this go such a long way!
Amanda Sattley
Went in 2 days on row had all paperwork! When it was my turn got turned away oh we’re not taking walk ins anymore. You can’t make an appointment for a week! The head lady is very rude and obviously let her power go to her head. The first day it was 1 o’clock the second day it was 11:30 she is very rude and makes it hard to get in.

birth certificate, social security card, two proofs of address, and any name changes since birth
Yes
schedule an appointment and should help reduce the wait time
The rmv gives you the optional choice of that matter.
Yes they do
Yes
you can start the application online, but have to go in person to complete it
I think so but only for title and registrations. No ID or License. My sister did her road test there. Hope this helps
Yes
Call them or make one online
There is a title for every car.. you'll have to trace it back to the original owner the VIN will identify every owner of the car.
If you want to get a Massachusetts drivers license you will need your birth certificate or a passport and your current out of state license.
have to go in person to apply for veteran plates
Its. Iligal. Dont get cough. Its 3. Hour wait. Mass registry. Is. Broken. They. Have. New. System. Has. Be. Be. In. Bu. Year. 2020
As long as the letters, numbers and registration sticker is showing you can't have any frame you want.
Original birth certificate, unlaminated social security, and 2 bills/proof of address
Get a tracking number from the RMV or go to the RMV and ask them.
yes, if you do not want to wait forever to be helped
No ma'am
expect a lot longer wait time if do not have an appointment
yes
Yes they do walk-ins
Break into someone else's car and steal theirs.
Both Haverhill and Lawrence rmv are not picking up the phones atm. If it is for registrations or driving test you need to go directly there if you can't get a appointment by the web and get the forms and schedule one there in person at the Haverhill rmv . For licenses the Lawrence rmv is the one who is doing that portion. Yes sounds inefficient and a waste of tax payers money but that's the world we are living in atm. Good luck .
You DO NOT NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT SEEING I WAS JUST THERE. YOU DO HOWEVER NEED TO SHOW UP BY 3 IF YOU WANT TO BE SEEN NO COPIES WILL BE ACCEPTED YOU CAN ORDER A COPY OF HER BIRTH CERTIFICATE AT VITAL RECORDS.COM WITCH WILL ONLY TAKE 1-2 WEEKS TO COME I JUST HAD TO GO THROUGH THIS WHOLE PROCESS WISH YOU BEST OF LUCK
Go online make an appointment go down there with all the proof that it is you pay the fee go back home take the learner's permit online if you pass take a screenshot of your learner's permit print it out get done good for 2 years
Yes but appointment only
No for now , they're providing the car for the road test
Yes , but you need to get a code from the RMV first
You have to mail them
The Haverhill location is a RoadTest/Registration drop off center during the pandemic. I'm not sure if they do License stuff there currently but at the Haverhill location you just show up and scan a code on the door to enter a queue. If you had to go to any other location you might have to make an appointment. https://www.mass.gov/info-details/rmv-covid-19-information
The soft license is just a temporary right the give you untill everything become s official, so you wait till you get the hard one , for you to be able to make the transfer.
Yes u can, and when u get there u will have to check in and then u will get a text o f how many are before u, then when your number comes they will text u again to come in because they are ready 4 u
Thanks! Are they accepting people at this location or is it for certain things?
Yes
Not right now with Corona. You have to make an appointment online
It depends on what time of the day u get there first thing in the morning is best
Yes, right now theres a designated area and you use a car from the state, due to sanitary conditions. Sponsors are also not allowed in the car, during the test
Yes
If the paperwork is correct and you provided your email, you should get an email that same day. I dropped my work off at 11 AM and by 1 PM I received my email to pay the fees. Double check spam/junk folders for updates, I wasted a couple days of time not looking in those folders. Hope this helps!
Yes.but u need to make an appointment..
Hi. Go to the registry and they will guide you to your next step . have a great day😊
Hi am not sure but they have bilingual employees at the registry. I hope my answer was helpful. Have a good day
You don't have insurance long as the car doesn't go on the road. That is unless you register the car
I saw someone walk out with some plates so I'm guessing they do. It does appear to be a full service RMV.
No you would need to go to the Lawrence RMV for that..
Yes you have to every 5 years on your birthday..
Normal business hours are from 9am - 5pm but hours may differ depending on location.. but yes they are open on Christmas Eve although what kind of business does one do on the eve of a major holiday?
Black Friday is not a holiday so yes..
If you have to take the exam again
Probably. But you'll end up with a broken 💔 if you go here.
Yikes!! You'll have to go back to the registry and get another one!! Good luck!
Your name will be in the system as having a permit so bring your birth certificate with you since I'm assuming you have nothing else that can identify you, pay the fee to replace the one you lost and you should be all set.
Plates?...yes
You can get the handicap sign or placard at the registry.. you will have to fill out an application and pay a fee..Good luck!
You don't have to change the address on your license.. there is a space on the reverse side.. you can place a small sticker with your new address written in permanent black ink. Once you've moved into your new address you will need to get to the registry as soon as possible.. you will also need to contact your insurance company because your rate may change based on where the car will be kept. Good luck!
They rotate taking lunches so there's always someone on the counter.. I would avoid between 11am to 2pm.. they close at 5pm.
Yes
You need to pay $100 to have your license reinstated from being suspended. You will need to pay the seat belt fine at the same time. You can pay both of these fines at the registry.
I cant find my license wiil the rnv if i call , mail me a duplicate and how much will it cost ? Ty

No... Here's a list of hearing locations. Boston. Brockton. Fall River. Lawrence. Pittsfield (Wednesdays only) South Yarmouth (Mondays and Tuesdays only) Springfield. Wilmington.
First of all you would need to prove that the person lives in New Hampshire... This can be very difficult to prove... The person may be visiting someone in Mass.. if you know this person is living in Mass with a car registered in NH I would suggest you contact any RMV in New Hampshire with your concerns. They can then advise you how to proceed.. my guess is they are trying to avoid paying car insurance which is required in the state of MA.. Good Luck!!
Unfortunately no.. you will need to provide your own vehicle for the road test. you can borrow a friend's car or in some cases you can rent a vehicle but it must be registered and insured properly in the state of Massachusetts.
You can renew your license online to save time and avoid waiting however your may need documents which include your birth certificate, proof of address (utility bill - best option) and of course your payment.. but as far as which days of the week to go?? Pretty much any day of the week but definitely make it what you do first thing in the morning.. 👍
Unfortunately you cannot live in Mass and have New Hampshire plates.. if you are a New Hampshire resident moving to Mass you must insure and register your car in Mass. All vehicles in the state of MASSACHUSETTS must be insured by law!
25 questions, 18 of which must be answered correctly.
Yes just bring the necessary documents you'll need to prove your residency in another state . Usually an electric bill or something with your name on it with the address of where you currently live. You will also need your birth certificate to prove that you are a legal US citizen..
You may be able to find out that information with the original plate because there would have had to have been a registration that accompanied it. You may have to do a bit of research since it has been 12 years since anything has been done... Good luck!!
You must have the title to the car. There can't be a lien on the vehicle. I would also provide the death certificate so there is no question... It's a family form that you can fill out so there will be no sales tax... All you'll need to pay for is the registration. I'm so sorry for your loss.. Good luck!
The laws have changed regarding this. You will need to provide proof of citizenship. Some common documents would be your Social Security card, birth certificate and proof of residency.
Was told it could be a couple months unless you go through drivers Ed. they have first choice with the registry.
I believe you must contact your doctor and they will give you the instructions, he will need to give you a letter with info of her condition, or true the Registry. Hope this helps.
Yed
You’ll need to prove your: • U.S. citizenship or lawful presence (a valid unexpired U.S. passport, a certified copy of their U.S. birth certificate, green card, or visa) • Social Security number (SSN Card, W-2, SSA-1099, A pay stub with the applicant's name and full SSN) • Massachusetts residency (You will need two. There are many many examples. See the website below for more detail) All documents must be originals, and cannot be laminated or photo copies. https://www.mass.gov/guides/massachusetts-identification-id-requirements
