The shower takes a long time for the warm water to come through. The exterior water fountain didn't work so I had to use the faucet at the sink. The hot water is always awesome. The the place is always maintained pretty clean, it's sad when marauders come through and make a mess. The place is beautiful but simple. Worth a visit if you can make the 21 miles off the interstate.

I’ve done the drive between California and Wisconsin… almost a dozen times and I’ve learned, I MUST visit the Hobo Hot Springs in Saratoga. Even though it adds an extra hour of driving (30 minutes south of I-90) it’s worth it!! For one, it’s free $$$ - always nice to drop off a donation in the box. There are three pools or varying temperatures as well as the natural stream off to the side - alternating between the hot and cold erases all driving aches and pains. I so appreciate how they are open to all (locals/visitors/aquatic kiddos) all year long. It’s not a fancy-schmancy built up spa or resort where you are required to have an expensive treatment or room booked. Just park, walk along the path and you have arrived. There’s a locker room with (sometimes working) showers and the legendary doorless toilets. Please be respectful when using the Hobo Hot Springs - LNT

Great place to soak your bones...showers and bathroom available the small pool was 104.4 the day I was there ...the big pool is even hotter...the lobster pot is the main heat source in the big pool at 117° be careful

Truly and so glad the city of Saratoga makes this available to the public -- free and 24 hours a day. Shower house is nice. Plenty of space to store or hang your stuff. Please remember to respect the waters and others by not bringing alcohol, smoking, or being generally disruptive.

Stranger things have happened there.
We were there the other day. Restrooms and swimming pool were closed and 2 porta potties were there. Hot pools were open but a bit on the 'too hot' side of hot.
free soak and free bathhouses with toilets & showers... 24x7x365. Donation box
Not sure if you ever made it to the hot springs Armand, I just found your question. I drive truck as well. There is plenty of parking for trucks and RV. As long as you don't park overnight. They patrol and will kick you out, even though the springs are open overnight. There is basically 2 parking lots for the springs. You will want the South lot. It's off a dead end street. (Cypress avenue) Hard gravel lot, and plenty of room to get turned around.
Yes it is family friendly. The waters in the river are warm but not hot during the winter. Quite nice though. There is also a "not so hot" pool for those who can not handle the hot pool
Bring your own. Bring water to drink as well to stay hydrated
No pets allowed in the pools, but the river is nice, a hot pool there as well
Clothing is always a must. It is considered indecent exposure because this is a public place that is open 24 hours. Besides, I doubt you would want slime from the pool getting into the more sensitive areas of your body.
Open 24/7
104° to 109°
Only during the day. The local police will kick you out at dark, even though the pools are still open. You cannot park overnight.
Yes, right across the river. Right on the river. Not sure about what hookups they have though. I've just see campers parked there.
Open but showers and locker rooms are closed.
You would be welcome. No the hot springs are not used for lap swimming
As of last Friday they were closed, haven't been there this week.
I wouldn't say slimy the water is continuously replaced and yes the bottom of the pool is sandy. Always practice care when getting in and out as the stair can be slippery.
There are not 4 pools, there are only 2 hot pools. There is a swimming pool but it is not heated nor free. The temp changes all the time unfortunately you just have to go and see.
Always take water and preferably no alcohol and no nude swimming and be careful
The hot pools are always open. The swimming pool has unusual hours. Best to call about the swimming pool
