Weve gotten hot food from here a couple times, and it's been pretty good. Some items are better than other. Beans are a bit bland, but their Pernil is very good. Cuban sandwiches were good too, just a bit too heavy on the mayo.

Love the selection, the prices are great, the prepared food is wonderful. However, everyone who works there is so unhappy. I'm literally ignored when I smile and say hi, my mom- who has breast cancer- is treated that way too. If I ask a question it's like I'm a huge bother to that employee, this has happened multiple times. I remember when Rifes was there, I never had that kind of treatment when it was the meat market. Every single time I go in. I guess maybe people need to get paid more or something. I hope this is read by management there. You guys need to pep talk your employees!

I am tired of having issues with the hot food from Thrifty. I ordered a whole chicken. You don't see the chicken because they wrap it with the clear wrap. When I bring it home, it is burnt chicken. Dry! How can you even be the type of human being to serve this and sell this to someone. I never had an issue with the catering. But in store there is always an issue. Before, I have order empanadas. And they always give me the wrong ones. They all have an attitude too. You need better employees. People that care about others. Because if it would have been a person with a good heart, I would of been able to enjoy the chicken I ordered today.

My go to for fresh Latin produce and foods! The neat is well priced, and the have a hot food cafeteria carrying Puerto Rican cuisine! All the ingredients for my sofrito!!
