Jaclyn and Cathy were so helpful. We found our new family member shadow. She is the light of our life. Thank you

Told me was a (no kill shelter) surrendered my 6 year old pit princess... awesome dog, smart as could be. I checked on her 1 week after and they said she was aclamiting great! Called today 3 weeks after just wondering how she was doing, and they told me she couldn't walk! Their vet determined numerological issues and they euthanized her! I'm completely beside myself! I had no choice but to give her up thinking she would be ok, and be adopted. It was either that or be homeless with a 10 year old daughter. They murdered our dog! No kill my azz!

Very impressed with customer service. The doctors were great too. Much less expensive than Oaklawn , Atwood Animal Hospital, Warwick Animal Hospital.and Ferguson in North Providence.Actually affordable. Other Vets rip you off with their high prices

Do your have any male kittens?
I think if you brought them to SPCA animal rescue I think they would be accepted and I think they will find a home for them they are wonderful people I know your dogs are old but there are some people that just take in in Foster elderly dogs. Good luck and God bless you
yes ive seen turtles there before...ive seen rabbits..rats..mice...talking birds..cats & dogs 🐢
We don't currently have any dachshunds available for adoption. You can always search for specific breeds locally via petfinder.com
I went in a couple weeks ago to see the dogs and cats. Was open for the public. Not sure if that's what you are qsking???
Why doesn't he call the spca. They might have some suggestions.
They are on the rispca website.
Absolutely, call them about a surrender. They will find a great home.
You can apply for carecredit??
Probably as a volunteer.
Call them or go down there. They are extremely helpful.
You need to ask them this question
Lisa, my condolences on your loss. Just like humans animals grieve. He misses his friend. I lost my 13 yr old Snowshoe June 2018 and my other 2 cats were going crazy looking all over for Esheah. It takes time. Just give your cat lots of extra hugs and love and both of you will get through this difficult time. Hope this helps. Again I'm sorry for your loss.
Between 6 and 9 months is when you can first contact your vet to neuter
From what I remember, you have to fill out an application and have insurance to volunteer there. I filled an application out about 6 or 7 yrs ago.
Yes it is a good place to do it
Cannot help.
They have all different ages of dogs. Your best bet is to go in person as the dogs are always changing. You could also ask questions about any specific breed or mix they may have.
We do not have any kittens at this time, Barbara...sorry
I know when an animal stops earing there very sick at that age he's probably ready to be put down you don't want him to suffer I had a Shepard Rottweiler mix he made it to16 but he suffered in the end he ate until the nite he woke me up at q00 am I new he was dying a sat with him lust peten him and loving him until he passed I wish I could have had him put down but it was so late at nite and he ate the whole time but when they stop that's it. I just had my 18 year old cat put down at spa there great but he's not earing
Call them
Call them for this kind of question or call animal control
Compassion animal vouchers
I definitely dont think they pick them up. Ive been in a lot lately and talking to some of the girls there they said they hardly even take on any strays. Best bet is to give them a call and see if they can take the cat but im pretty aure youd have to bring it in yourself.
Yes, Sean. We are considering a "no kill shelter". We do not euthanize animals based on a time limit or space. We don't euthanize if the animal is unable to be rehabilitated or is too sick or injured for it to be humane to continue their life.
I believe so, depending on the circumstances.
I just wanted to know if he was adopted I don't need to know where.i just want him to have a good home. thanks for the update
Depends on the cat and if there is a person who is looking for a cat like the one that was surrendered! Generally, animals only stay for an average of 11 days at the RISPCA once they become available for adoption. :-)
What is a parroletes?
You need to go there to see the animals and fill out the application.
Must be 16. Must fill out application and attend (& pass) training. Then they'll talk availability.
Hi Gail. We're sorry you're going through this. The price varies between $40 and $60 depending on size.
Not right now but keep checking the website... you never know!
Some veterinary nutritionists have suggested that dogs eat stool to replenish enzymes so that they are better prepared to digest their food. There is also evidence that dogs that aren't getting enough of certain nutrients will resort to eating poop. A lack of vitamin B is often said to be a cause of coprophagia.
Nope! It's a volunteer basis.
They were a little over $200 for me to adopt my dog, but that included his first vet visit (to an approved vet), collar n lead from up country, and a bag of dog food. So, worth the price to me.
