I love this park and my child loves it too but today one man was playing basketball alone with a gun in his waistband. Guns, cigarettes and make out should be forbidden in playgrounds, is a place for children. Is not safe for children to play there with a man shooting a ball with handgun in your pants. This should be a federal law, no guns aloud in playground no matter what.

Nice park. Has basketball, tennis, and racquetball courts. Nice playground for the smaller kids. A small pier for fishing. They have a volleyball net with sand area and an open field for a soccer or football game. Park is small so not ideal for hikers but you can just walk around the park a few times I guess. All around a nice park. Picked up some lunch and sat at a bench by the lake with the kids just to get out of the house.

My family loves this park. Facilities are always clean and well maintained. The combination of kids playground, sporting facilities and the lake make for a very beautiful spot. I often see woodpeckers, snowy egrets, red shouldered hawks, pelicans, great blue herons just to name a few. Not sure what attracts the wildlife to this park but is does seem more abundant than any other park in the area.

I came for the volleyball, field was full off stick and branches. Which makes it hard to play. Also the grass is growing into the field. I hope this gets cleaned. Was really looking forward to play here.

Unfortunately not any long ones. When I say long, I mean more than a mile. Closest good trails are Lake Nona, West Orange and Jim Van Fleet.
