Had a horrible experience here. My unit had some animal get in and left droppings on some of our stuff. In addition to the poor storage in some areas, they tried to scam me out of the rent I paid. They double charged me for rent and I called them about it and they denied the charge. They said their system crashed, erasing records... I showed them my bank statement and they just waived it off and sent me to corporate. Corporate did nothing about it either and told me to take it up with my bank. Took it up with my bank, they fought it, and I got my money back. But this incident goes to show that they're customer service lacks. Especially since I talked to their manager of this place the entire time. Just go a block or two up the street to Hide-Away Storage. Units are much cleaner and more reasonably priced with much friendlier and helpful employees. UPDATE: This is an update to my review and semi-response to the response given by StorMax. - My review remains the same. You did have one very nice and helpful employee, but the owner/manager (Francis) was a disappointment. What ever happened to the 'customer is always right?' I am not saying I am always right, but I know and can admit when I'm wrong. I was lied to about being double charged. StorMax nor their superior did anything to help me, so I had to take care of it all on my end. Also, they did have an opportunity to make it right. I rented with them for 3 months while I was out of town. And then the whole ordeal with the double charge lasted another 3. That is plenty of time to make it right or at least acknowledge and own up to it. Sure you may take pride in resolving billing issues, but I was redirected to corporate or whatever and it seemed like you threw me on the back burner.

Francis and Laura were great! Francis truly cares about his customers he goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy. I am glad he went over everything and made sure I understood the contract which was nice. Laura is a really sweet lady so glad I chose StorMax very caring people always making sure if I needed anything to let them know that they would do whatever they could to help me out. Sometimes you never know exactly what a person is going through at a very difficult time in their life it’s nice to see that just the little things people can do for you can brighten your day and to know that people really do care.
