We had such a magnificent stay at The Talbot House in the month of June! We went on the Machias Seal Island puffin tour and stayed here for 1 night in room 6. The owners were absolutely amazing! My boyfriend has to do some work for a few hours and the owners recommended I take a walk around the town. I explored the ATV trail and saw eagles along the river. Our stay was more than comfortable! Breakfast was great. We have already decided we will stay here again as we’d love to do the puffin tour next year.

I stayed at the Talbot House Inn this past July 2021. The hosts were exceptionally helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms and house overall were accurately described and very clean. I would return again without question. I usually do not take the time to review my stays but felt the Inn deserved a 5 star rating.

Third time we have visited here, for a very good reason - great hosts and a great place to stay. We've taken friends along twice and they loved it too. Our hosts even offered us hot breakfast at 6 am before our puffin cruise, unheard of service! We'll be back!

I apologize if this reply is late, I am not sure when it was asked. This is the 1st I have seen it. We advertise no pets because it is difficult to have pets in the Talbot House Inn due to all guests walking through the downstairs public areas. Many guests have allergies to any type of animal. Thank you for asking!
All of our rooms are $105 per night which includes breakfast. After Labor Day they change to $95. Maine State Sales tax of 9% is added to the total. Thank you for asking!
