The park is absolutely beautiful and well kept by the staff. The place is clean, and you feel safe in the area. The park supports of wide variety of interest for the naturalist including kayaking, fishing, recreational walking, bird watching, butterfly habitat, and enjoying the natural beauty of Florida. The trails are well groomed and the bathrooms are clean. I see the volunteers out here virtually daily keeping this place in top shape for the park users. A real gem in Englewood.

This place is a little hidden gem for when the beaches and Indian Mound Park are too busy! Very nice walks and nice scenery.

This is the best place in Sarasota County (maybe all of Florida) to take a walk. The facilities and walking paths are great. Lots of great scenery, wooden bridges, the water, wildlife, etc. And it’s a huge area.

Depends on the tide ..wind... bait...have fished there on and off since 1990.
It should be
We call it red tide.
Most of it is off-limits to bikes. There is ample bike parking with racks.
I have heard that they have good fishing. In fact Englewood is known as great little town with a fishing problem". Lol! Lemon Bay Park is a very nice park. They have a big shelter for parties or what not. There is an area to launch a canoe from. They have a long trail that has stops of nature for one to see along the way.
