Best bread in Boston area. My favorite is the sourdough ancient grain. Love to go to their location in Cambridge, but have come to rely on home delivery since they started it during the pandemic. Have to order two days in advance, but it always arrives when scheduled. Iggy’s bread is also available in stores around Boston but it’s usually sliced. I like to buy whole loaves.

Great bread and rolls delivered to my door. I so appreciate the quality of their baked goods. The rye bread is exactly like the bread I grew up eating in Germany - it is so authentic. My kids gobble up the baguettes quickly - one of their favorites! It’s always a great day when we open our door and unwrap all the goodness that is Iggy’s. Thank you for keeping us safe during the pandemic - we are grateful!

Depending on how old the bread is I just make it wet on the surface and put in the oven for a couple of minutes. It softens up with the moisture and the heat makes it crunchy again.

Iggys does still make the French (white) Pullman. It's likely they were just sold out of that loaf for the day
Similar to most places. Masks, distance, and limited numbers in the store. I haven't seen this be too bad but I guess it probably depends on when you go. Probably would only take a couple of rogue people to make things uncomfortable. The staff seems to be doing a good job when I've gone.
