Great place for some solitude, peace and quiet. You can hear distant thunderstorms miles away, birds and some evening mosquitos flying by. You'll see some cows grazing, deer and maybe an alligator or two. Mostly grassy trails, fields and trees. Great place to connect with earth, take your shirt off, walk barefoot at times (just watch out for those pesky fire ant mounds) and enjoy nature at it's finest. Benches along the way too, if you need to rest. Take plenty of water as the summer heat and humidity will take a toll on your body. Lots of shady breezy areas to cool off. Can easily get into the low 90's in the summer with high humidity before the thunder-soakers move in. Watch out for the lightning. Picture below is the Eastern Lubber Grasshopper, taken at this preserve.

Beautiful scenery, and a whole lot of land to explore! Maps are located by the parking, definitely grab one, very large area! Multiple hiking trails also paths for bike riders, and horse back riders. There's also roaming, wild cattle that can be admired. The only downside in my opinion is the ground is really wet and mushy compared to other nature trail preserves in the area, make sure you're prepared for that. You are also not allowed to bring your dogs to this preserve. Over all, think it's a really nice place for some peace and quiet, while seeing awesome sights!

This is a nice area where you can hike through a mixture of woods and fields. You can even hike through some cattel fields ( watch out for the cow patties). Maps are available at the entrance and many miles of trails are available. During the wet season a good portion of the trails can be flooded so take a extra pair of socks and shoes with you. It is very quite here and the wildlife is plentiful. It should be noted that the gate is locked nightly at sunset.

Great place to ride, hike, bike esp. if you enjoy the old Florida and seeing cattle! Unfortunately floods in summer and closes.

No motorized vehicles aloud. Regular mountain bikes are but it is a flat ride out there
Free but small parking lot - remember to keep access to the gates open. Some accidentally park in front, blocking working access. Working Ranch
Probably not a good idea, there are cows on the trails. I've seen some dogs out there but I'm pretty sure they live out there because I've seen the same dogs multiple times.
Thank you for information. Definitely will not disturb wildlife.
If it rains to much they close the park. Last time I was there it was closed.
