This place is wonderful! I have been going here for almost a decade and Dr. Ballantine and the rest of the staff are practically magicians when it comes to dental care. Prices are great with many options for discount plans. The wait is long, but get booked today!

Dr. Woods and her staff have been amazing to me since becoming a new patient after years of avoiding dental visits. They were very compassionate and explained everything so well and are so sincere every visit. I really appreciate them getting me back on track and for not making me feel bad for my not so great history of keeping up with my teeth. Staff is also very polite and on top of things when it comes to confirming appointments, checking in, etc. I highly recommend Dr. Woods to all my friends and family and couldn’t ask for a better experience! As a health care provider who has an incredible and irrational fear of dental offices and procedures I could not say enough great things about this office! They provided exceptional, efficient, and obviously very knowledgeable care. Every person in the office goes above and beyond to ensure your experience is easy, they provide compassionate and INFORMED care. Mr. Wilson, Although we do not have a periodontist on staff here, we work very closely with periodontists in our area, and our registered dental hygienists are very skilled in providing periodontal cleanings and maintenance visits. Please call us to schedule. Thank you, Jen
I cannot speak for most offices in our area. I can say that the providers at North Port Dental are able to perform more complex treatment here than in most general practices, due to extensive post-graduate training undertaken by our providers. Our office is happy to provide a review of your sister's existing x-rays and treatment needs as recommended by her dentist at home. They do offer these "second opinion consultations" at no charge to sit and speak directly with the dr, provided that the doctor does not perform a clinical examination. If necessary or desired, the consultation may transition into a traditional examination at the request of the patient, or recommendation of provider.
