Orlando was my barber/artist. He turned me from Shrek to Prince Charming. Found Black Star Unisex through Google and the reviews are amazing. Their first impression was so heart-warming and rewarding. I was greeted once I walked in the door. Orlando gave my 2 yr old the best haircut I have ever seen. Just like the movie Barbershop with Ice Cube but this place is 10 times better. Definitely coming back!!!!!

The wait was very long but the hair cut was on point. I will be sure to make an appointment well in advance. If you decide to walk in, you will be waiting 2 hours like I did so save yourself the frustration and reserve. Same day appointments are also more than double the price so listen to me, and plan ahead to save time and money. Busy barbers = good barbers. These cats are good!

Brian McDougle made me look like somebody. Brought my look back to life! Customer service was amazing. Went above and beyond my expectation. Make sure to tip good because they worth it and we need barbers like this to keep us looking fresh. Very clean shop and fun people who are all down to earth. A real down home experience. I have been frequenting this location for a number of years and I have to say this is by far my favorite barbershop. The sense of professionalism and quality of haircut provided by each barber is without a doubt exceptional. The atmosphere here feels like your amongst friends and family. The shop has the ability to schedule and book appointments with your preferred barber or walk in. The barbers are able to serve both women, children and male clients preforming and utilizing a multitude of hair style techniques. Overall, I'll continue to visit this shop for all my haircut needs and would highly recommend anyone visit this shop. You will not be disappointed.
