I am a longtime loyal patron of la fitness. The Bala Cynwyd location was very disappointing today. While the staff is friendly and helpful, and the patrons knew each other and enjoyed friendly conversation, the equipment is old. Some of it did not hold the adjustments I made and “fell” during my workout. Some of it seemed rusty and had resistance because if buildup or something. There were few dispensers with paper towels. The floor had tracks on it like someone had come in from the rain and it was a beautiful sunny day. The spin instructor was 20 minutes late (maybe more because I left ). Fortunately I can go to other locations, but I am extremely disappointed.

Marcus was a great help to me today. He is expert in training and fitness and helped get me back in the gym with a genuine personal touch. The atmosphere is communal, warm and intense, and I got a great workout. Highly recommended!

Staff is very professional and friendly. Most of the equipment is very nice and they have some unique pieces. However the gym is very frustrating to use. Almost no dumbbells on the rack below 50, which makes training certain body parts impossible sometimes. Dumbbells are also left everywhere throughout the gym. Very happy overall but members could definitely care more about this place

This is honestly one of my favorite locations because everyone vibes so well with another. All the personal trainers are amazing and unique in their own way. Shoutout to my favorite personal trainer Abraham. I adore and applaud him for continuously and effortlessly remaining commitment to his clients and pushing them pass their limit to be the best they can be. My guy ❤️
