The technicians were very nice. Gentle and did an amazing job! I was so happy with my pedicure that I got a manicure too even though that wasn’t the plan. Can’t wait to go back!

I visited I Color this morning after reading numerous good reviews, but when I approached the salon I was in shock at the rundown depressing exterior. Things only got worse after I entered the business. It is small, dark and felt dirty. The polish display and counters were filthy with the bottles covered in a grimy film. I was in shock and not at all comfortable having my nails done here. I didn't want to make a scene or be rude to the young women working there, so I left quietly. I would advise visiting before making an appointment.

Manicure chipped not even 24 hours later (got it yesterday). They told me gel color over clear dip works (it was their suggestion because of a color I wanted, but I wanted dip) and it's chipped already. Sure, they *guarantee* their work and I could go back and get it fixed... but it's Thanksgiving week and I've got no time (and now a bad manicure for the holiday). It's not a quick fix to repair dip and gel together. First time trying this place and it'll be my last. I was surprised how cheap it was, but now I know why.

This was my first time at this nail salon today. First impressions, loved the comfortable seating, lots of colors to choose from (even though they didnt have a neon green that i wanted) but i made it work either way, very clean and cozy. Although due to the hot weather i was very hot and had very clammy hands. As the gentleman sat me down i tried to break the ice with a friendly little joke about how i was "sweating like a stuffed pig" mind you i am a plus size woman. His response was "hey you said it". i was kind of taken aback by that just figuring maybe he didnt understand my humor in making light of an awkward situation. He continued to do my nails and asked if i wanted boxed squared or boxed rounded for the shape. Now i am not a connoisseur of nails i just stick to the traditional terms or square or rounded( i dont get my nails done often) I just told him i wasnt sure and asked my company what that meant(she had been there before) In the meantime he told me i needed to hurry up and decide because there was no going back with my decision so i needed to make up my mind. Other then the rude remarks and the rushing me to decide even though i clearly had no clue about any of that. He did a great job on my nails, the length was perfect and the shape was on point. Then they had to squeeze someone in and he passed me off to someone to paint my nails at the drying station not even at a table. He told me prior he couldnt do an ombre look which is what i wanted because he didnt know how. Little does he know i called a few days prior and they told me they did... They just didnt want to. She didnt even paint them in sequence like i told her to, there are spots that werent even painted properly, will go back to my regular nail salon. I would have been better off painting them myself. Not a great first impression.
