I booked an appointment about a year in advance to have my eyes looked at before the end of the year. When I arrived on site there was no doctor available. I had numerous reminders and appointment confirmations for my specific date and time, but alas they had nothing in the system for me. They can get me in, but not until next year - too late to use my benefits. If you get an appointment confirmation email confirming your appointment, please be aware that it is not actually an appointment nor when you confirm this appointment are you actually confirming an appointment. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

My experience at the office was great. Was in and out for an eye exam within 30 minutes. Dr. Hamel was extremely efficient and provided me with great insight in regards to the health of my eyes. Highly recommended.

Been coming here for years. My last two (2) eye appointments seem rushed by not only the doctor but the front desk staff. The spanish or black guy is always rude and unwelcoming. While he was adjusting my glasses he bent the bow so much that it actually broke and then handed them to me saying it looks like you broke them. Um no you broke them while trying to bend them to fit my face. Then refused to help me any further.

Yes we do

Does mass health pay for the exam, or glasses too?

They pay for both. The exam and 1 pair of glasses. They also have glasses that are only $50 for masshealth members if you needed a backup pair. The free ones took about a week or so to come in, the ones for $50 we're available the very next day. Love this place!
