To whoever reads this, My father, Jeffrey Smith, is a patient at your facility. He is currently being discharged instead of moved to a rehab facility as was requested by your ER team, his OT and PT nurses, because his health declines when he goes home and then we end up in the hospital again because he is blood pressure drops, his oxygen gets dangerously low, his legs swell up twice the size with fluid, he can’t breathe, he’s has COPD and DVT, etc…He just requested to be moved to a rehab facility where he can get a handle on his many issues and medications and your Dr. Singh not only denied his request but also denied him a very needed anxiety medicine. She actually said to a sick 72 yr old man “ I have a busy schedule and cannot jump to get you a medicine. Also you are out of here and need to figure out your own plan when you leave”. I’m disgusted by this behavior from a doctor at your facility. I now see why you have such a horrible reputation for care. This is reprehensible and I will make sure I tell everyone in person and on social media this is how Concord Hospital at Laconia treats it’s elderly patients and in particular this Dr. Singh. It a shame because your nursing staff has been exemplary Their kindness and consideration for my elderly father is above anything I’ve have seen at any hospital. But this Dr. Singh she should be absolutely ashamed of herself for treating a patient like this!!! Sincerely, Courtney

Took my dad to the Laconia hospital for chronic pain and inflammation in his hand/arm. Within an hour they had my dad in a room, seen by the doctor, on pain meds, and came up with a diagnostic plan. Dr. Morrison made my dad feel very comfortable and was overall a very nice and professional doctor. The nurse, Micki, was so nice and attentive. Way better than any hospital in the area including Franklin and Concord.

My 79 year old wife was scheduled for a CT scan at “Concord in Laconia” hospital Friday at 5:00. I dropped her off at the door and she comes out a while later in tears. They wouldn’t give me the CT scan because their computer said her appointment was Wednesday. This was wrong. I helped her make the Friday appointment. In my wife’s condition every doctor’s appointment is a major undertaking and fills her with anxiety. Now she has to go through all of the prep work again. Is this any way to treat an old lady ??

My son (10 years old) broke his leg at Gunstock yesterday and we headed straight to this ER. Honestly they could not have been more fantastic. We did not wait. Every nurse and doctor took the time to explain every step of treatment to him. They calmed him down. Casted him. Gave us recommendations for next steps. The nurses were just lovely. Caring, sweet, kind. As a NYC girl, who has done more than her fair share of ERs, this place blew me away. I just want to write this for the next mom whose kid breaks something at Gunstock - don't hesitate to take your kid here. We seriously considered driving back home to NYC but are so happy we did not. We were in and out of there in less than 4 hours. We are grateful for the excellent care. We truly are.
