My neighbor highly recommended Smokey's and all the reviews looked great on line so I called to make an appointment and brought my pick up truck. I had just previously called around to many firewood dealers and no one had any seasoned wood. Even Smokey's said all they really had right now was kindling scrap and all their split wood was not seasoned yet so I figured that the kindling would help me burn some unseasoned wood back home. I met the owner, Donny there and he was very pleasant and showed me the various piles of kindling that I could load in my truck and he noticed that way in the back, there was an old pile of split seasoned oak and he said for me to load as much as I wanted. At the end I had about 2/3 of the bed stacked with seasoned oak and 1/3 stacked with kindling. He even found me a nice 18"-20" oak log with flat surface that I needed for splitting wood on and he loaded it in the bed for me. He charged a very reasonable fee that I'm sure no one else would have charged. Needless to say, I will be using Smokey's exclusively in the future and have already told my son about this place.

Great to deal with and best price around. Not to mention it was a LARGE DRY cord of wood! Thanks

Smokeys (Don) is the best firewood supplier on the south shore. A couple years back when I got my woodstove installed, I started looking all over for firewood. I literally called every firewood supplier on the South Shore, about 30 of them. From my research I learned a few important things about firewood. First, it needs to be well seasoned or you can get chimney fires from creosote buildup. Also, firewood suppliers often short you by not giving you enough when they dump it in your yard. So, needless to say, I did my homework! I bought 2 cords of oak from Smokeys and was impressed. The firewood was seasoned. Don provides helpful information about this on his website but no other firewood supplier does. Smokeys also gave me more than I paid for because when I measured it out he gave me almost an extra half cord. So, if you need firewood, call Smokeys. Quality firewood with a hardworking and professional manner.

I rarely, if ever have seasoned hardwood as I sell year round as fast as I can process it. That said, I actually measure where each cut is made thereby customizing all wood per each order. Standard for me is 16 -17 inches but the max is 24 inches.
Yes, if and when the wood is available. I'm always selling as fast as I can produce it. Call me for pricing or click on Products at my Google places page. Rates are based off of a cord and I'll scale the price accordingly.
My standard lengths are 16" - 17" however, I will process special requests from 12" - 22"... Note: lengths under 15" carry a $50 premium.
Unseasoned = $275 Seasoned = $320 (usually sold out) Delivery = the greater of $25 or $2.00 per mile. Note: pine for the firepit = $195
Smokeys Firewood is located at 457 Wareham Street, Middleboro. It's on a lot behind Nick Ieronimos Landscape Supplies visible from Rt-495 not visible from Rt-28. Also, it should not be confused with any other supplier located there.
