Alright guys...I am amending my initial review. I was extremely disappointed with my service with the insurance company, Guardian, and having my warranty honored. Since then, I have been contacted by Johnny at American freight who was more than willing to assist! He spoke to me with kindness and compassion despite the fact that this was an insurance issue and not from the store. He genuinely wanted to help me fix my problem. When I came into the store, he welcomed me and immediately helped to resolve my problem. I also had the pleasure of working with Bob who was also very helpful and pleasant. Thank you Johnny, Bob, and American freight for helping me.

I am trying to find the most effective way to file a formal complaint against this company. After I send this email, I will also be writing a review online to hopefully persuade people to not purchase any furniture from this company. As a single mother, my money is not something that I throw around. When I purchased my sectional, I was informed that the warranty was the best option for me since I have 2 boys. I was told that the furniture came with a 1 year warranty and I opted to purchase the extended warranty. I was told by the store representative that if there was damage to my sectional, I could contact the store for assistance with filing a claim. After almost a year, I did experience an issue with the sectional. I went into the store and was told that I needed to file a claim with the manufacturer to be refunded so that I could purchase another sofa. He informed me that the process would take 30 days and even helped me pick out my new couch! I filed the claim and was told that a 3rd party, FSN, would need to come to my house to examine the sectional. The first appointment was cancelled and when he finally showed up over a month after I made the appointment, he was in my home for less than 2 minutes. He did not sit on the couch to experience my concerns...only took a couple pictures and got back into his still running car. I was then notified about 3 weeks and many phone calls later that my claim was denied and that I needed to file a claim through my extended warranty. I went through the process of filing yet another claim only to be told that the claim was denied due to the fact that I did not file the claim within 30 days of the damage. I informed the agent that had I been directed to Guardian first, the claim would have been filed in the time frame and was then told that there was nothing that could be done. This is a scam! What is the purpose of paying for the extra protection if when you need it, it can't be used? I could have kept my additional money. I have not been able to get assistance from the company or the insurance company. I am highly dissatisfied with the level of customer service that I have received. Please let me know where I can file a formal complaint that can be read by someone with the authority to assist me. Thanks

Very pleasant experience!! Johnny was very handsome, helpful and made the process very comfortable and easy! also they seem very passionate about making sure people know what they are getting themselves into!! will absolutely be returning and highly recommend to first time home owners or renters :)

Had a difficult time at another location with getting my delivery scheduled and I was ready to cancel my order and receive a refund on the couch. The manager, Johnny, (great name by the way) was superb and assisted me with impeccable customer service even though they threw the order and delivery on him last minute l. He spoke with confidence and kept his word. I was the first delivery of the day and he completely changed my outlook on American Freight. I will make sure to return to the Main St location next time I am shopping so I know I will be taken care of.

They charge separate for independent contractors to deliver... If you're willing to pay for it they will deliver where ever.
