the areas that are around the emblematic places of the city, are in complete disarray. the canals that run through the center of the city. it has too much waste. lowell business area. it lets us see the deterioration of the buildings, dirty and faded showcases. abandoned and dirty business premises. It is an unpleasant sight to the tourist... we must improve.

We live 45 mins away but the trip was worth it. We took our 2 year old as he’s OBSESSED with anything transportation and he loved it. The gentleman working was beyond friendly. I love the old vibes it has. Def worth a visit!

The National Streetcar Museum in Lowell MA is always a hit with my grandchildren (as well as the whole family, or visiting friends). Don't forget to combine this with the Lowell National Historical Park and the rides (trolley ... and canal boat tour - if you are lucky even the Merrimack River). My family thoroughly loved the open air trolley ride!

The admission for the Lowell National Streetcar Museum is $3.00 for adults / $2.00 for children 3 years old or older / $2.00 for Senior Citizens / Free for children 2 years old or less / Free for Seashore Trolley Museum 'members'. Admission is payable by cash or check only, because the museum has no way to process credit card transactions. -JP, volunteer of the Lowell National Streetcar Museum.
Hi Brandon. This is John Petillo. I am a volunteer for the Lowell National Streetcar Museum. Due to concerns centered around the ongoing Corona Virus situation, it was decided that the museum would be Closed, until further notice, or until the virus 'subsides'. The museum is associated with the Seashore Trolley Museum, in Kennebunkport Maine. The Exec. Director, and the Streetcar Museum's Curator, as well as myself, all made a joint decision about the museum being closed until further notice. Thanks. -John P.
Yes, indeed. There is air conditioning in the museum. Particularly useful on hot summer days, as well as rainy days.
Hi Monica. I'm a volunteer at the Lowell National Streetcar Museum. I volunteer there on Saturday weekends.
