A nice preserve that took me to odd places that I’m so happy I got to go to. This area could definitely use an Earth Day cleanup with all the trash around but I sat a great time!

Nice walking trail about a mile long, blue marker trail, boardwalks and interesting ‘shrooms along the trail.

I come here for a nice walk with my leashed dogs. It's a small loop with 2 paths. Wont take you long and you cannot get lost.

Its a fairly short trail to walk. The outer loop is a mile long, including the walk up the street back to parking lot. The path was groomed and there were a couple of bridges. Can't wait to check it out come in the fall and winter. I would have rated it a 5 but the frozen pond wasn't frozen.... <-- thats a joke. You'll get it if you go.

Questions & Answers

Are dogs suppose to be on a leash?

Nickerson Walking Woods Preserve | Sep 2, 2020

Please keep your dog on a leash, as requested by a sign at the beginning of the trail. Off-leash dogs have been the cause of many complaints from neighboring residences, trail users without dogs, and trail users with their own dogs.
