Really good coffee. Service was interesting. The young fella working the register proceeded to count his tips and mess around with counting money for literally 6 minutes before pouring our two regular drip coffees. I couldn't understand that, it felt like we were on Punk'd or Candid Camera. But, the coffee was good.

5 stars for location and atmosphere*, -3 stars for the actual product**, -1 star for the decor***. In general, we worked here for a few days and did not find any other great working spots in Salida (wifi and power). This was the best work-location we found. * Good seating, power, great wifi, downtown, cool old building with some of the original wood trim and a copper ceiling. ** The coffee was incredibly weak. I can't stress this enough. Hot water is comparable. Tried a dark drip and a 3-shot red eye with a dark coffee, both resembled gas-station-weak coffee. I did notice that the espresso wasn't even lightly pressed into portafilter, just ground into it. But still. Gas station coffee. *** Yep. Decorated with faux marble paint and some stenciled words. Straight outta home owner's association hell.

The most horrible latte ever! My Mom & I love Buena Vista Brown Dog, so was excited to see one in Salida. It was horrible, so milky & couldn’t even taste coffee. Just like hot milk! We decided not to go back in, but will never go back there! We didn’t even drink it, why bother right?! There are better choices around.

Good cute coffee shop with breakfast burritos and other baked goods. Location is right downtown and they have a couple tables outside the shop to enjoy the nice weather.
