Greg was our server on Saturday afternoon. The place was empty, and the line was around the block at the Boathouse. We've eaten at Bensons before and the service and food were very good. But not this time. We had a party of 10, and when Greg found out we wanted separate (couple) tickets he got an attitude We waited over 2 hours for everybody's food. There was no rhyme or reason to how we were served (not by couple). And people were served food during that time (which came in after we did). There is a reason this place was dead on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The service was terrible

This is the quintessential old school, small town, Colorado bar. Ask for Raquel as soon as you walk in! This fiery, quirky, smart as a whip gal will slang brews, bourbon, and burgers with the best of them. She's quite the raconteur too. She could teach a class on customer service at any ivy league college. I would've given her 6 stars, but Google only goes up to 5. Raquel made our visit memorable!!!

We stopped in for a beer and a quick bite to eat. The service was fantastic, the beer was great as were the chicken street tacos! I was just expecting ho hum bar food and was really surprised with the great taste of these tacos! Great bar atmosphere also!

Not like a German beer garden, but good.
It is not a German style bar. It is a Salida Colorado bar. It is a lot of fun. The food is pretty darn good as well. Live music
