I resisted going to see a mental health therapist, until a friend in Albany recommended Capital District Neurofeedback. My insomnia had taken a worst turn from the pandemic stress, worsening other parts of my life. Dr. Cale explains everything so well, and it's worked out great. I sleep SO much better, and it's like night and day. Thank you, Capital District Neurofeedback for the train your brain approach.

I've been going to Capital District Neurofeedback, and I think it's going really well. Since a long time ago, I've had headaches and anxiety. The treatments for the headaches and anxiety have trained me to be calmer and not jump to the worst conclusion right away. And the headaches went away after a few treatments, and haven't come back. Neurofeedback therapy is working for me, I recommend it.

Unfortunately, it is an individual case by case basis. We have patients who see progress on alleviating symptoms in as few as 3 or 4 sessions, and for some individuals and conditions it can take longer. Most encouraging about the successes with Neurofeedback, is the long lasting help and relief it brings. See our reviews for a broad overview of results. Contact us for more specific information about how it might help you, or go to our website for even greater detail.
Neurofeedback sessions are 45 to 60 minutes long where the patient wears a safe non-invasive headset that dispenses subtle brainwave queues while the patient plays a game on visual display screen, like a typical television. It's relaxing, there is no exertion involved and we have great results. See what it's like in the pictures from our office in the photos section of our Google Business Profile. Call or go to website for even more details about the Neurofeedback therapy process.
Neurofeedback is a form of biofeedback that changes the way the brain functions. It appears to do so more effectively that medication, therapy, exercise or any other form of personal change work. In a very real sense, Neurofeedback is exercise for the Brain! And not just any exercise…but very specific, focused training that reshapes the way the brain functions. Neurofeedback, also called EEG Biofeedback is a state-of-the-art, non-invasive method for teaching the brain to function in a more balanced, relaxed and efficient manner. In reality, this creates a healthier brain. The EEG training does this ‘magic’ by giving the brain feedback in very rapid, precise ways. When the brain isn’t working well, we can experience a wide range of symptoms, from anxiety, distractibility, hyperactivity, depression, brain fog, OCD or worry. Neurofeedback helps correct that over time.
