Love love loveee it. Fun times with the kiddos. Gorgeous beach. Salty water. Spacious in the afternoon and not very crowded at all. Jet skis, banana boat, cabanas, beach umbrella and chairs available for rent. Not bad if you didn't have anything to protect you from the sun. We got a cabana and laid a blanket down. Have to conserve some money. 😉 Worth the two hour ride.

The beach is nice, clean, and filled with fine white sand. Its calm wave is great for all ages. It's a beautiful location to enjoy the sunset. Lots of food choices too. Yet, parking is limited. I wish there is a trolley route taking people around town. It would cut down congestions and allow guests to truly explore this beach town.

Clearwater is the most beautiful city in the whole Florida. I have visited St. Pete, Sarasota, Tampa etc. but this place is above all. The Clearwater beach is very beautiful. There are many other activities like Jet Ski $80 for 30 minutes, Banana ride $25 etc. The water is so clear, it feels so soothing to spend some time in waters.

Being a Florida resident I love spending the day at the beach. There are many beautiful beaches but nothing compares to Clearwater Beach. The sand is kept clean, it's soft and white. Many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. I almost always see dolphins swimming by and occasionally manatees. 🐬

I sometimes see dog on beach, I sometimes no see dog on beach. Who knows the way of things?
Wander around and you will find wash up stations.
Pier 60 hotel lets you park for $20 and then at the bottom of the reciept you can tear it off and take it to get half price food and drinks up to $20! Best deal on the beach and it's centrally located
The public beach is on the west side of most of the island. Driving west on Rt. 60 also called Gulf to Bay will take you right to the pier, Pier 60. This is the main south beach area. The south beach stretches from the pier south over a 1/4 mile. There is several parking lots and a parking garage in this area. From the pier, Clearwater Beach also runs north over a mile. Heading north on Mandalay, from the turnabout, there is parking for the north beach at Rockaway St., as well as, at the end of the next three streets north. Most likely you will have to pay for parking on Clearwater Beach. The city has removed almost all of the free spots and require you to pay either by using the "Park Mobile" app or by entering your license plate # and scanning a credit card at the parking terminals.
