It’s okay in the sense that it’s away from the main Gulf. Less heavy waves. Sand is rougher as it consists of mix with shells. Our 5 year old loved it. You do get to park next to the beach. We went there on a Thursday, hardly anyone around. Like any beach, there is some garbage both outside and inside the water. Algae floating, animals expecting food etc. No clean water to rinse. Space only to change.

Great beach, please don’t tell anyone about it! Especially not families with children! Faced the shore not the gulf but that’s the only disadvantage. Back your car right up to water’s edge or park under a palm tree. Open your trunk, set up your gear and presto! We love this little secluded slice of paradise. $15 to park all day; get there early and you have your pick of the beach!

Abu Seba is the first drive-in beach I've ever been to. You can easily see it off the Gulf Blvd and its easily accessible. This is just outstanding experience that I've never felt before. Super convenient. It has not been overcrowded, despite we visited it on Sunday between 11a-2p. A lot of people who are here not the first time, take tents, grills, coolers and blowables. In other words, they came here better equipped then we did. Luckily, now I know the drill and next time we'll get prepared.
