The Bike Shack (Free Parking During Rental)

Loved The Bike Shack! We rented e-bikes for the weekend & had the best time tooling around PTown like locals. The owner was so helpful, got us all set up with bikes pretty close to closing time, and then even swapped our batteries out for us mid-way through the weekend to make sure we were fully juiced! We got locks, baskets, they even had helmets, (although we brought our own). The bikes were in perfect condition & we rode them on all the bike trails near the beach & all over town, with no trouble at all! Will definitely go back to The Bike Shack next time we’re in PTown!

I rented a bike with a tagalong for my daughter. We got the bike home and took it out for a test drive before heading to the beach. Thankfully we were off the road as there were NO brakes. They sent someone out to fix it, he was very nice but when the bike was tested, yet again, the brakes were not strong enough. He then switched out the bike. Thankfully my friend was able to otherwise we would of had a second bike without brakes! Unfortunately, at this point my child was already too scared to use it again. We used it for two test drives; returned it within 24 hours and even asking for a refund for day two the company stopped responding to us. 80.00 for 5 mins of riding- all of our plans had to be changed on top of pickup and return time. I would strongly suggest using a different company.

We were so impressed by the quick turn-a-round on our bike tune up(s). My wife’s Raleigh was making a disconcerting clicking sound that was totally eliminated by the tune up and my POS bike was totally transformed! It shifted more smoothly than it ever had before...sweet ride at a sweet price. Best place in town.

Liz has the best bikes at the best prices in P-town! She made absolutely sure that my friend and I had exactly the right bikes for our height and size, and for our riding plans. She took us through all the different types, and she has some really nice new bikes, too, much better all around than what you will find elsewhere in town. You get helmets and locks, too, and a basket for shopping if you want. I really appreciated her knowledge and help, and she is also really friendly and welcoming. She even told us some good places to go for dinner and suggested some fun trails to bike as well. I won't go anywhere else for a bike when I'm in P-town!
