Beautiful center offering great information, a small shop, a theater showing short documentaries and 2 decks with amazing views overlooking the dunes and the ocean. The kids really enjoyed peering out the binoculars and the short documentary.

I have always loved visiting this place. Morning, Noon, or night. Rain or Sun. There is always a fantastic view from the observation deck on the 2nd floor. The gift shop /theater / book store one the main floor is also great. (Support our National Parks !!!) Being part of The Cape Cod National Seashore, it is staffed by National Park Service Rangers. They are extremely helpful, and resourceful.

Small but informative visitor's center with panels/exhibits about the history, geology, and ecosystem of upper Cape Cod, as well as a theater with rotating short films (~10min); the Shifting Sands movie about how a glacier formed the Cape was very well explained and I learned a lot. Nice gift shop, and the friendly ranger at the info desk had plenty of tips on what to see based on my personal interests. The ranger-led walking tour through the dunes and cranberry bogs helped me appreciate my surroundings during the rest of my time on Cape Cod. Definitely don't miss the great views from the 360° outdoor observation deck, which is always open.

Trails, nice views. Lot of information and a little gift shop. Get your stamp for National Parks if you're into that. My mom appreciated this area. Though was disappointed that most of the area is for hiking/biking and her healthy issues couldn't get her to most of the lighthouses.

Are tide times at the Bay and at the ocean the same? Truro resident

Ptown bay? Or cape cod bay? All tides correspond with Boston harbor....give or take a couple hours. But Nantucket side is different than bay side.
